Welcome to Feral Cat Spay Neuter Fund
I am trying to raise funds to get a small colony of feral cats spayed or neutered and released so that they don't reproduce and have more kittens suffering in the cold, rain, snow, being shot, etc. I was recently donated a live trap so I can now begin trapping and I have a vet that will do the surgeries for $40.00 per cat.  I appreciate all donations whether they are $1.00 or more and if you can't donate just passing it along to others so that they can donate.  It is a colony of about 12 cats except I did find one dead on November 30th and had to bury it.  I take mail donation and can provide donation receipts also.  The physical address is Carrol Mick 127 S. Cotton Lane, East Prairie, MO 63845 and I will post pictures of the cats as they get helped. email me with any questions at carrolmick@gmail.com or call 720-732-8612

01/01/12 Hello my dear friends. These are a few of the cats out here in Southeastern Missouri that are up for adoption. Time is sort of running out for them because right now I am here in Southeastern, Missouri and I have had them neutered and spayed and I have constructed placed for them to sleep and keep dry and fed them, but I will be leaving the area soon heading for North Carolina. These cats are spayed and neutered and are not feral. They need homes.
There are the following:
less than a year old tiger striped kitten male neutered
long haired black with white long haired male neutered a year old
grey long hair grey female cat spayed about a year old
short haired black female lovable spayed about a year old
short haired tiger striped male neutered male less than a year old
- I will be willing to transport these loving cats to homes along my route to North Carolina so that they can be loved like they deserved; my route is
south on I55 from Sikeston, MO to Memphis, TN then on US 45 towards Tupelo, MS, then US 45 towards Birmingham, AL, then I20 towards Atlanta, GA then towards Augusta, GA then on to Florence, SC then US 76 to Jacksonville, NC.
I need help getting the word out to loving people that would like to make the lives of these few non feral(wild) cats a part of their loving homes, keep them warm, keep them healthy and safe, and get them shots and vet care.
Please contact me at carrolmick@gmail.com or 720-732-8612 to work out details.
All of these cats have only been altered no shots or vet checks all done with donations from generous loving people looking out for their welfare.
01/01/12 Hello everyone need more donations for this week to get the rest of the males fixed that are feral if possible. I will be leaving for NC soon and then there will be no one left here to get this small colony of cats fixed. I got most of them fixed now just a few more left. Also need to find homes for the ones that are not feral. http://www.feralcattrapneuterrelease.org/
These are a few of the cats that are not feral and need a home: I have an album in picasa that shows more pictures, please take a look and contact me, I am but one person but we can help these kitties find love in their lives.  I want to share something that was said to me about two of the cats that were fixed: Well I like these two they are pretty.  Okay well why don't you take them home with you? Because they need to stay outside, they will find someplace warm to stay and something to eat, but now they won't make more babies.  So see why I need help getting them homes - even the few people that seem to care don't really understand that when it is cold outside and these wonderful creatures are left outside in the elements they suffer.  I don't think I will ever understand that mentality.  (oh and this is was said by someone who sees these cats everyday and did not lift one finger to help oh except to catch one because he knew I was going to get it fixed).  Sad
01-06-12 We are down to the wire now - we are leaving on Monday morning, so if anyone would like to provide a loving home for one of these fur babies I can bring the one(s) along.  Please contact me by Sunday morning 01/08/12
